LA Family Housing Opens Residences on Main

On November 20th we celebrated the Grand Opening of Residences on Main along with our partner Coalition for Responsible Community Development. A permanent supportive housing building in DTLA, it will provide safe housing, job counseling, career support, and a wide array of supportive services for 49 families and Transition-Age Youth. The 4-story apartment complex was designed by Y&M Architects.

“Building affordable housing is the answer to ending the homelessness crisis in LA, but if we want to prevent people from falling back into homelessness again, we need to give people the tools they need to thrive. The combination of housing plus supportive services are critical to breaking the cycle of homelessness in people's lives,” states L.A. Family Housing President and CEO, Stephanie Klasky-Gamer.
