Grassroots advocacy combines a person’s time and talent to help create positive systemic changes. This is done by educating fellow community members, people of influence, and elected officials to impact decisions that improve the lives of people experiencing homelessness.

LA Family Housing takes a knowledge-based approach to advocacy. We’ve provided a wealth of resources for you to learn more about the history, causes, and solutions to homelessness. Then, with that knowledge, you can take action to move the needle on proven homeless solutions. From contacting your representatives about important legislation, to outreaching to landlords, we’ve created numerous opportunities for you to make a difference.
