THE KEY TO BUILDING MORE HOMES
With the sharply rising rents and a lack of affordable housing in Los Angeles, more people are at risk of falling into homeless.
As a real estate developer and a homeless services provider, LA Family Housing recognizes that an increase in affordable housing is the key to ending homelessness in our region. Our current portfolio of more than 30 properties provides housing and stability for thousands of people each year.
Similar to our homeless services, before breaking ground on any new development, we consider each community's unique needs, character, and priorities. We proactively engage neighbors, regional service providers, community-based interest groups and government officials, with the goal of fostering strong and lasting relationships.
Our pipeline of new real estate development will provide nearly 750 new permanent and supportive homes by 2023 for vulnerable groups including transition age youth, veterans and their families, and single women experiencing homelessness.
