STEPHANIE KLASKY-GAMER
President and CEO

Stephanie Klasky-Gamer leads LA Family Housing with nearly 30 years of experience in social and economic justice work and an in-depth knowledge of housing policy, finance, and development. Stephanie leads this nationally recognized and award winning organization with oversight of its real estate development and comprehensive homeless services departments. Under her leadership, LA Family Housing has transformed into one of the region’s largest homeless service providers and a premier developer of environmentally sustainable affordable housing in Southern California.

Stephanie is a passionate advocate and is considered an expert in the field of community development, serving in many leadership roles that shape and promote housing and homelessness policy. She currently sits on the Governor’s Council of Regional Homelessness Advisors, the UCLA Ziman Center Affordable Housing Advisory Council, and US Bank’s Advisory Board. Stephanie is active with Women Presidents Organization and was an Affordable Housing Commissioner for the City of Los Angeles for four years.

She is the proud graduate of the University of Michigan and earned a Masters in Urban Planning from UCLA.

TOI CHISOM
Chief Administrative Officer

Toi oversees five essential operational functions at LA Family Housing: Information Technology (IT), Operations, Asset Management, Performance and Quality Assurance, and Human Resources. Toi holds more than 21 years of experience in the government sector, previously working at the L.A. County Office of Education, the City of Santa Clarita and most recently in the City of Lancaster where she was the Administrative and Community Services Director. She has a master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge.

It was in Toi’s role with the City of Lancaster where LA Family Housing worked alongside her and other community leaders to form the SPA 1 plan to end homelessness.  Toi’s voice and understanding of homeless issues, especially the government funding matrix, was instrumental in both creating and implementing that plan. At LA Family Housing, Toi will focus on our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts as LA Family Housing creates an intentional shift in our response to all forms of racism and discrimination, promotes inclusion and understanding, and works to create a more equitable approach at LA Family Housing for staff and the community we serve.


LLOYD WRIGHT
Chief Financial Officer

After more than two decades in the for-profit sector, where he held executive roles in finance, consulting, and product management, Lloyd transitioned to the nonprofit world. For the past nine years, he has served as a CFO, spearheading the implementation and integration of multiple financial software systems. Lloyd has also excelled in designing and optimizing operational and financial processes while building finance teams dedicated to program support, fiscal compliance, and long-term financial sustainability.

Lloyd shares, "I’m honored and excited to join LA Family Housing, a premier organization focused on solving one of the biggest challenges facing our city. While there is no magic wand to solve homelessness, the solution begins with a compassionate and sustained effort from the community and the commitment of dedicated organizations like LA Family Housing. ELISA K. NETHERCOTT
General Counsel

Elisa Nethercott is an attorney with 17 years of experience practicing law in various capacities.  Prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector, she spent the first decade of her career focusing on white collar litigation and corporate compliance matters at Foley Hoag LLP in Boston, Massachusetts and Steinman & Rodgers LLP in Washington, D.C.  While in private practice, Elisa sought out opportunities to represent victims of domestic violence, children with special education needs and underserved community members in landlord/tenant disputes on a pro bono basis.  It was the rewarding nature of these legal representations that led Elisa to professionally pivot towards nonprofit work.  Prior to joining LA Family Housing, Elisa served as Chief Compliance Officer for the LA Conservation Corps.  In her current role, Elisa provides strategic counsel on risk management, compliance, ethics, employment law, contract negotiations and board governance as well as overseeing all litigation.     

Elisa is licensed to practice law in California, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from William and Mary Law School and her Bachelor’s degree from William Smith College where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.  Elisa is also an avid hiker, outdoor enthusiast and classically trained pianist.

 


KIMBERLY ROBERTS
Chief Programs Officer

Kimberly is a longtime leader in the homeless service system in Los Angeles. She is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of experience working with communities impacted by income inequality and homelessness. She compliments her professional training with lived expertise, having experienced homelessness and housing instability as a child and youth in San Diego.

In her recent role as Deputy Chief Programs Officer at LA Family Housing, Kimberly oversaw the implementation of a wide range of programs designed to help households access services, prevent evictions, and transition out of homelessness. She has shared her knowledge, expertise and best practices with organizations and communities across the country, providing technical assistance to homeless systems seeking to improve equity and quality across their programs.

As a resident of the San Fernando Valley, Kimberly sees the critical need for innovative programs in Service Planning Area 2. In her role as Chief Programs Officer, she oversees all aspects of Homeless and Housing programs, Regional Coordination, is an elected member of the LA CoC CES Policy Council, and leads the SPA 2 Steering Committee. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her partner and dog.


LISA COLLINGS
Chief People and Culture Officer

Lisa Collings brings over 30 years of experience in human resources to her role as the first Chief People and Culture Officer at LA Family Housing. She is drawn to the mission of ending homelessness for good in her hometown.

As the SVP of People and Culture at Satellite Healthcare, she served as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the leaders and as an advocate for the employees. Lisa was passionate about the mission of making lives better for those living with kidney disease. She was responsible for talent acquisition/retention, talent management/leadership development, DEI strategy, total rewards, employee/labor relations, HR operations, and the restructuring/cultural alignment in support of the integration with US Renal Care. Prior to Satellite, she was the head of Talent Acquisition for Oportun, a company that provides inclusive, affordable financial services that empower their customers to build a better future. Throughout her career in multiple industries as well as external consulting services, Lisa has demonstrated the ability to support the achievement of the organization’s goals through people systems and processes.

Lisa has a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley. She lives in the Hollywood Hills with her husband Mike. She is the proud mother of two daughters who currently reside in London and Hawaii.
